Troika: Brick Vase, Alison Brigden (1977-1983)

A rectangular Troika “brick” slab vase, decorated by Alison Brigden between 1977-1983. This piece features some of Troika’s most iconic and recognisable elements: bold geometric and Aztec-like patterns in orange, blue, and white, set against a matt grey background.

Alison Brigden worked at Troika Pottery until its closure, becoming Head Decorator in the final years. Her pieces are especially popular because of the link to the final chapter of Troika’s history.
